Documents You'll Need

We have prepared an itemized checklist of documents you may need when obtaining your home loan.

The checklist below is a “general list” only. The actual documents that will be required on your loan may vary. You may only need to provide limited documentation or no documentation at all. Please contact us and we will let you know what specific documents will be needed on your personal home loan.

IMPORTANT! Do not close or pay off any charge accounts, credit cards, or consumer loans (auto, boat, RV, etc.), and do not open or apply for any new credit accounts or loans without contacting us first. Any of the above actions can have a “negative” impact on your credit score and can affect the ultimate outcome of your home loan.

Documents

Copy of two recent pay stubs & W2s (If you are self-employed, you’ll need two
years of tax returns & a YTD profit and loss statement)
Copy of your current mortgage statement
Copy of your homeowner’s insurance policy
Copy of driver's license
Copy of your social security card
Copy of most recent (2) bank statements (checking & savings)
Copy of most recent investment account statements (IRA, 401K, stocks, etc)
Copy of divorce decree (if applicable)
Verification of any additional income
If you own rental property, provide copies of rental agreements and two years
of tax returns
If you are not a permanent resident provide a copy of your H1 or L1 visa or green card if you are not a US citizen
